To begin the installation process, locate the setup.exe
installation program file where you stored it on your hard drive.
- Either double-click the setup.exe installation program file from
the Windows Explorer, or open the select the Run option from the Windows Start
menu, enter "[path]\setup.exe" (where [path] is the folder you saved the setup.exe into), and then press the [Enter] key.
NOTE: "[path]" above means to enter the actual path to the folder into which you downloaded
setup.exe. Ex: "C:\Windows\Temp\setup.exe"
(If installing from a CD, simply insert the CD and the install program will
self-start.)
- Once the InstallShield setup program begins, follow the instructions on the screen.
(If you are installing a multi-user version, be sure to enter the Windows Logon ID for the
person who will be the "administrator" for TenKey Tutor on the installed
workstation.)
- Finally, once installed, use TenKey Tutor's built-in Registration
form to either register and fully activate TenKey
Tutor on the installed PC.
NOTES:
- If you have purchased a multi-PC license, you need
only download once. Then run the InstallTenKey.exe program from each
PC to be licensed. This will insure each PC has all necessary
components.
- Every installation on a PC must be registered by
connecting to our website after installation, or by sending us an email
generated from the installed copy of TenKey Tutor. For you convenience,
TenKey Tutor will run for up to five sessions before registration, but
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by license.
- Registration provides us with a reasonable
assurance against piracy and provides you will the ability to receive notice
of updates, upgrades and/or support issues. We hope you understand.
- The registration process gathers no information from
the PC other than that directly related to activation of TenKey Tutor.
No information so gathered is used for any purpose other than the registration process
itself.
