TenKey Tutor Online Help System

TenKey Tutor Online Help is really three help systems in one, each system oriented to a different user base.  These three user bases are administrators/instructors, students, and everyone.

TenKey Tutor Tour

This brief tour is designed for, and should be utilized at least once by, everyone.  It provides an overview of the components of TenKey Tutor and how they work together to rapidly build your numerical data entry and computational skills.  It is available directly from TenKey Tutor's Learning Mode 1. This is the first mode that each new user sees.

Student Help

The student section of the Online Help system you are currently reading is the main source of help to meet the needs of those leaning data entry and computational skills.  This is called TenKey Tutor for Students.  It includes all the information that might be needed for any student to reach new heights in tenkey proficiency and productivity.

Administrators and Instructors Manual

The multi-user licensed Professional, Home and Family, and Learning Center editions all have similar administrative requirements.  We have organized the online Administration Manual to service the needs of both administrators and instructors who may be responsible for utilizing any of these editions.

The Administration Manual is provided as a separate online document since it has information inappropriate for use by the general student population. Access to the administration manual is via the administrative option on the help menu when logged in as an administrator or instructor.   During the installation process, the installer is asked to provide the Windows LogIn ID of the person who will be the TenKey Tutor administrator.  Thereafter, whenever an individual is logged into Windows on that workstation with the administrator's Windows ID, TenKey Tutor will recognize that individual as a valid TenKey Tutor administrator.  The administrator can use whatever login ID and password he wishes on TenKey Tutor, but will only automatically have administrator status if he uses the Windows LogIn that was stated during installation.

This online manual provides the additional information a systems administrator might wish to know for successful installation, maintenance, and backup of student records in a low-volume multi-user environment.
