Register Online

While the Help menu's Register Online selection is suggestive, it is not essential that the PC upon which a copy of TenKey Tutor is installed actually have the ability to connect to the internet. This feature is provided for your convenience and ours, but you can also register by e-mail, fax, or US Mail.

The information below relates to completing the Internet Registration Form itself, which is available within TenKey Tutor. This form needs to be completed no matter which method of registration you choose.

Internet Registration Form Details

Select Register Online from the Help menu to open the Internet Registration form. This form is divided into four areas:

Instructions for completing and submitting the form;
Product Information, including the edition you are using, and licensing information;
the Registration Form itself; and
buttons to be used for help, submission, and exiting this form.

Form Fields

Note: All fields marked with an '**' are necessary for full registration and activation.

Field Name	Description
Contact Name**	Please enter the Contact Name to be used for questions regarding this registration. Normally, this will be the name of the individual who purchased this copy. If a gift, enter the recipients full name instead. Include both given and sir name. Ex: John Smith
Company Name	Include the purchasing company name, if licensed to the firm, rather than you personally.
Billing Address 1	First line of billing address Ex: 12345 Main St, Suite 451
Billing Address 2	Second line of billing address. May be PO Box or other relevant addressing information.
City, State [Country]	Please separate City and State by ", ". Include country if not USA.. Ex: Victoria, BC [Canada]
Postal Zip Code**	As relevant for your locality. Use Zip+4 if available.
E-mail Address**	Receipts, passwords, etc. will be sent to this address only. Use a friend's if you don't have one.
Customer ID**	This will be found on your invoice or gift certificate. Must match entry in customer database.
Invoice Number**	As shown on your invoice or gift certificate. Must match entry in purchase database.
Invoice Line (Number)**	Identifies the specific product license being activated. Must match entry.
Telephone	That of the Contact Person above. Please include country code if not in USA.
Fax	That of the Contact Person above. Please include country code if not in USA.
Activation Code	If using e-mail or fax, enter code here when received by return e-mail. This code is unique to you and identifies the computer you are registering for use. If moving to another computer later, registering again (for free) will be necessary.

Note: All information entered on this form will be stored and reloaded for you automatically the next time you open this form.

Form Buttons

Button Caption	Purpose
Web Site	Use to transmit encrypted registration form data and receive automatic license activation.
E-mail	Attaches encrypted registration data as file to an outgoing e-mail and puts in your outbox.
Print	Prints the Registration form with its data. Fax or mail this for activation code returned by e-mail.
Send Later/Exit	Saves current form information and returns to TenKey Tutor's main window.
Help	Opens this help page.
