About TenKey Tutor
The "About Box" includes general information about this version of TenKey Tutor and its installation and setup. It includes license information, paths to the application and current student files, and access to the Microsoft System Information application, should that be needed for Technical Support.

Edition: Security
Development Corporation produces three different but closely related editions
of TenKey Tutor. The
Edition, version number and build number together uniquely define this
product.
Example:
TenKey Tutor Professional Edition
Version 2004.3.1487 is Version 2004.3, build 1487.
All installations require activation from www.tenkeytutor.com web site
or built-in Registration/Activation form. Until
completed, the edition will include the word "Unregistered."
Current License:
Tells you
how many different workstations this licensed copy can be installed on,
and the maximum number of different users who can use each workstation.
"Single User" means the license is for a single PC only.
The license
is not transferable to another PC.
All licenses are by specific hard drive. They
can be reactivated in case of disk crash or disk reformatting.
Application Folder: This is where your TenKey Tutor program is installed. All of its major components are located in that folder.
Data Folder: This is the folder in which all student results and preferences are stored. By default, this is also where paper tape files will be stored, if saved by the user. In addition, it contains the Skill Test drill files utilized when users are assigned to this path.
The data path may be altered by adding "/Data=[any valid path]" to the Start in line in the shortcut used to launch TenKey Tutor. For example: /Data=Data/room201.
System Info...:
This button
provides access to Microsoft's System Information Program if it has been
installed on your computer. It
allows you to see what components are installed on the computer, what
your versions are, and what is running at the moment the button is clicked.
This information
is occasionally used to help troubleshoot a stubborn installation problem.
